I haven’t updated in forever, but I’m going to make time to do this again. In my life recently since I’ve posted last I had a new baby which as all you parents know will take a ton of your time. There has also been a major re-org at my job which put me even deeper into a leadership role. I’m finally starting to have time to pull my head out of everythign I’ve been doing so I can start blogging again, and this is probably going to get interesting.
My company has decided to go all in with Segment Routing which is definitely interesting. While some companies are looking at deploying Segment Routing or may have already done so, we are going to be doing that along with Tree-Sid to support multicast, and other automation pieces. This stuff is so new its taking Cisco over 2 months to even figure out how to sell this to us (I’m still waiting).
So going forward this blog will primarily be about Segment Routing and the challenges I’m facing going forward.
